Oil India Ltd. operates as an investment holding company. The company is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company went IPO on 2009-09-30. The firm's segments include Crude Oil, Natural Gas, LPG, Pipeline Transportation, Renewable Energy and Others. The company owns and operates an array of facilities and equipment to carry out seismic and geodetic work, two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) data acquisition, processing and analysis, drilling, oil and gas field development and production, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production, and pipeline transportation. The firm owns and operates an approximately 1,157 kilometers long fully automated crude oil trunk pipeline between Naharkatia-Barauni. The Company’s in-country operations are spread over the areas in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, and offshore areas in Andaman, Kerala-Konkan and KG shallow waters.
